Born and raised in the charming suburb of Palatine, IL, Dr. Rokosz's genuine care for her patients is deeply rooted in her upbringing. Throughout her medical journey, she has been captivated by the balance between science and art in plastic and reconstructive surgery. With a strong foundation in both disciplines, Dr. Rokosz expertly restores form and function.
Background & Education
Dr. Jennifer Rokosz embarked on her journey in the medical field with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her dedication to learning and serving others led her to pursue her medical education at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria.
Dr. Rokosz further honed her skills through intensive residency programs:
- General Surgery Residency (2015-2020) at West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV
- Plastic Surgery Residency (2020-2023) at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, TX
- Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital
- UTHSCSA Plastic Surgery Residency Site Director for the South Texas Veterans Health Care System
- Adjoint Assistant Professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio
Dr. Rokosz graduated from her plastic surgery residency in June 2023 and is now ready to continue serving the communities of South Texas as a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
